Great staff, great products!
I was looking for a water softener and a water heater so I went to the Home Show to talk to a few companies. I talked to 6 different companies that gave me the exact same sales pitch. Jake at Rabe Hardware did not give the same old pitch. He simply explained his product with no pressure. 2 of their plumbers came over and they were very courteous. They were very thorough explaining how the softener works. Their work in the utility closet(where the water heater and softener was installed) looks a lot more appealing than I expected. Even their work in the crawlspace, where only I will see, looks good. I am very happy with the products and service Rabe Hardware provided me.
Not only did he replace my thermostat but he talked/walked me through several features I was not aware of or didn't understand. He turned on my humidifier and adjusted the flow.
I can't attest to the products yet, but the installers and service guys put in our new furnace and water heater and central air like a well-oiled machine. They arrived early and much to our surprise, were completely finished before 5:00 p.m. The 40-something wood-burner was quite the monstrosity to tear apart and remove from the basement, and the central air was new for us, and these guys knew what they were doing! All were very courteous and fun to talk to. We will recommend Rabe to anyone!

Rabe Hardware installed a new geothermal system for us earlier this year. Yesterday I noticed that our thermostat was not working. 7:20 a.m. today I got a call from the serviceman saying he was on the way over.
I could go on and on but won't. I just want to let Rabe and you know that it was not just a service call but he went way beyond anything other service men have done in the past. We hope we never need another service for years, but if we do, we know it will be handled quickly and pleasantly.
